FarrFin is an information service. We publish plain-English explainers, indicative numbers and checklists for Irish protection and pensions products. We are not a financial advisor. We do not sell, recommend or bind insurance, pensions or investment products. Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice.

Advisor introductions

When you're ready for a recommendation, we introduce you to an independent qualified financial advisor authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland. The advisor — not FarrFin — gives the regulated advice and arranges any policy. You decide whether to engage the advisor; there's no obligation.

We may receive an introduction fee from advisors in our referral network. (Specific fee disclosure to be confirmed before launch.) Receiving this fee does not change the price you pay or the advisor's duty to recommend what's suitable for you.

Indicative numbers, not quotes

Premium and pension figures shown on this site are illustrative, drawn from publicly available rate cards and sample tables. They are not regulated quotes and final pricing is set by the insurer or pension provider after their own underwriting and assessment.

Your data

We process the personal details you submit under the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, solely to make the advisor introduction and follow up with you. Health-related information is special-category data under Article 9; we ask for explicit consent before any health detail is recorded, and pass it only to the advisor we're introducing you to.

Complaints

If something we've published is wrong or misleading, please email hello@farrfin.ie and we'll review it. Complaints about advice received from a third-party advisor should be raised with that advisor; their regulatory complaints process applies, not ours.
